![]() They provided one light blanket on the bed no comforter or anything else. I have stayed at the town Place suites by Marriott that is right next-door in the beds there are super comfortable so I don’t know why this Fairfield had such crappy beds. First off the bed is super uncomfortable. I would say it was probably a 40 inch and considering most hotels are Sadie and recently have 47 to 55 inch TVs this one was on the small side. The hotel was clean it is older and you can see scratches and you can see things that have been remodeled but yet like they left the popcorn ceilings but put a new light fixtures. It’s right off the highway so it’s easy access. It’s close to the airport if you need to get there. I would recommend staying elsewhere, particularly given the rates charged at this property. In short, this hotel is not worthy of the Fairfield brand. That is what should happen with this hotel, absent renovation. Other hotel chains (e.g., Choice Hotels) intentionally rebrand their properties as they age. And the room, likely due to the outdated cooling and heating unit, felt damp. The towels and wash cloths were old and thin. All of the furnishings were outdated and the mattresses were in serious need of replacement. When my wife and I walked into our guest room, it felt like we had stepped back in time 20 or 30 years. The overarching problem is that the hotel in general, and the guest rooms in particular, are in serious need of an upgrade/renovation. Unfortunately, this hotel fails to live up to the Fairfield brand name. I selected this hotel because of my general preference for the Marriott/Bonvoy brand, and because of recent positive experiences at two other Fairfield Inns. My wife and I recently spent one night at this hotel, prior to an early morning flight out of Kansas City.
